About the APod
The APod is a freestanding acoustic focus booth designed for open-plan environments. It creates a semi-enclosed individual workspace that dramatically reduces the ambient noise reaching the occupant, without the permanence or cost of a structural partition. The acoustic core is built from high-density materials that absorb speech frequencies — the most disruptive noise type in open-plan environments — with particular effectiveness.
The interior is finished to a high standard: integrated task lighting, a fold-out writing surface, and upholstered acoustic panels on every interior surface. It's a genuinely comfortable, productive place to spend an hour of focused work.
