The Hybrid focus booth is one of the most elegant answers to that question we've seen. Freestanding, acoustically considered, and visually striking, it creates a defined personal workspace within a larger open area — without any construction, without permanent walls, and without the institutional feel of a traditional enclosed office.

How It Works

The Hybrid booth creates a sense of enclosure through its high back and wraparound form, which provides both acoustic shielding and visual privacy. The upholstered interior surfaces absorb sound, reducing the ambient noise that reaches the occupant from the surrounding environment. The effect is a significant reduction in distraction — enough for sustained focused work — without complete isolation from the team.

This particular installation was placed in what had previously been a dead zone of the floor plan — a large open area that staff moved through rather than worked in. The addition of the Hybrid booth immediately gave the space a purpose and began to change how the floor was used.
