The Dome Chair Takes to the Road
Great design belongs in great places. The Pedrali Dome chair has been a fixture in commercial interiors across New Zealand — boardrooms, breakout zones, staff rooms, and café settings — but this particular outing took it somewhere rather more dramatic: New Zealand's stunning back country.
We've always believed that the chairs and tables we specify should be as beautiful in photographs as they are functional in daily use. Taking the Dome chair out into some of New Zealand's most iconic landscapes was partly a creative exercise, and partly a way of demonstrating that genuinely well-designed furniture transcends the context it was built for.
About the Dome Chair
The Pedrali Dome is one of the most versatile pieces in our range. Its clean, sculptural profile works in virtually any interior context — it has an unpretentious quality that lets it hold its own in a luxury boardroom just as comfortably as it does in a school staff room. Available as a chair and a barstool, in a wide range of colours and with both indoor and outdoor-rated options, the Dome is a workhorse that looks like a racehorse.
The commercial-grade polypropylene shell is UV-stabilised and impact-resistant, making it genuinely suited to outdoor and high-traffic environments. The stacking capability means storage is never a problem.
